Sterilized, disposable needles are used to implant hundreds of tiny dots of colored mineral pigment beneath the basal (top) layer of the skin enhancing natural features.
No (except for the administering of the anesthesia). Local anesthesia similar to that used by a dentist freezes the entire area of the creation, providing comfort to the client.
Most of the procedures require approximately 2-3 hours. The most important part of all the procedures is the artwork and the choosing of the colors, both of which require approval by the client.
Within seven days you will notice a visible difference. We require all of our clients to come in for verification 30 days after creation at which time any adjustments will be made (if necessary).
Normally five years or longer, Re-enhancements are recommended for maintenance.
Anyone having a procedure done will have an allergy test performed to ensure that they aren't allergic to our pigments. The allergy test will be done using a red pigment. The red pigment is usually the one that will cause the most noticeable allergic reaction if there will be a reaction at all.
Fees vary according to the creation required and will be determined during your consultation. But remember, you get what you pay for.
