Skin Rejuvenation

PhotorejuvenationYour Guide to Photorejuvenation

Our Pulsed Light Systems help give your skin the appearance and texture you want!

Photorejuvenation can treat:

Pigmented Lesions (Solar Lentigines) - are suninduced spots, or "Age Spots", which appear as dark brown circles. There can also be scattered brown spotting of the skin, known as Actinic Bronzing.

Vascular Lesions (Spider Viens/Rosacea) - are superficial blue, red or purple veins under the skin's surface or can appear as facial inflammation.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q. What are Photorejuvenation treatments like?
A. Quick & Easy! A pulsed-light emitting hand-piece slides over your skin allowing the light to break up the pigment in the lesions.

Q. What should I expect after a Photorejuvenation treatment?
A. Pigmented lesions darken slightly after treatment, then fade away after about 10-14 days.

Vessels (visible veins) generally undergo immediate graying or blanching and the surrounding area may redden. The vessels then fade after about 10-14 days.

Most people experience some mild, temporary redness and swelling, similar to a sunburn, shortly after treatment. This does not interfere with normal activities and usually subsides within a day. In some cases, the redness may last longer, but will still be mild and temporary.
